Why do you keep using the term "throw under the bus" in regards to this situation? Doesn't she DESERVE to be canned? If so, the term "throw under the bus" does not apply.

throw under the bus: to sacrifice some other person, usually one who is undeserving or at least vulnerable, to make personal gain.

One is thrown under the bus when they are made the scapegoat or blamed for something that wasn't their responsibility in the first place. A coverup for your mistake.

Clearly this WAS her mistake. It would appear that Obama is throwing the Secret Service "under the bus". It's not possible for him to throw her "under the bus" in these circumstances.
