"The Swiss have failed to give a clear signal for diversity, freedom of religion and human rights," said Omar Al-Rawi, integration representative of the Islamic Denomination in Austria, which said its reaction was "grief and deep disappointment."How many crosses are there over churches in Saudi Arabia or Iran?

I hope the Swiss can hold up to the repurcussions that will occur from this action. I hope they do not capitulate or that would be worse than having never stood up at all.

Good for the Swiss.
If you muzzies don’t like it, LEAVE !

you know, the minarets are only designed to be high points for scanning the horizons to warn of arriving crusades. They are also excellent sites for snipers to direct fire down upon advancing crowds. Until they get hit with a well directed artillery barrage.
They have absolutely no religious significance whatsoever.

"The Swiss have failed to give a clear signal for diversity, freedom of religion and human rights," said Omar Al-Rawi, integration representative of the Islamic Denomination in Austria, which said its reaction was "grief and deep disappointment." That puts them on the same footing with most of the rest of the world although I'd put Switzerland's diversity and tolerance up against any Islamic country's diversity and tolerance any day.

"I hope the Swiss can hold up to the repurcussions that will occur from this action."Since most of them are armed that would not seem to be a problem.

The Swiss have failed to give a clear signal for diversity, "How many crosses are there over churches in Saudi Arabia or Iran?"
Yup. Good one. In fact, if you dare to try and put one up you may end up dead. No, I take that back. You WILL end up dead.
