I found Davis interesting & more importantly - the young lady wasn’t the typical angry liberal student we find here in Boston - she seemed sweet & happy, had a sense of humor.
I worked at Ridgecrest Baptist Assembly with Jerry Davis. We had a huge Summer staff back then, I think around 450. Also if I recall, he was staff president. He also was quarterback of our staff flag football team.
I can still remember him playing with a brace on his knew, probably injured during high school football but don’t know.
Anyway “College of the Ozarks” does sound like it is turning out fine Christian citizens who know what it is to work.
I also think it is interesting that Pat Sajak who replaced Woolery is also a conservative, I mean a real one not a Hollywood conservative.
