Oh come on! Enough of this garbage. It is becoming obvious that this couple had to have had high clearance to get into the White House around the Secret Service. Therefore, someone who is not very well liked in the Secret Service was set up for the fall. That is ALL that this story is about — watch the long run on this one and you’ll find that to be true. With so many people VERY unhappy with Obama, security is EXTREMELY tight. All of this is a means to tank a high level, very much unliked, Secret Service official or officials. Merely political.

That's an interesting take on it. They clearly had to have clearance to get in, particularly since they had a cameraman with them. (I don't know if he got in, too, but somebody took those pictures of them...)

I was just thinking that the Obamas were embarrassed by the fact that this came out on the couple's Facebook page and were shoving the blame off on a flunkey, but you could be right. There might be more to it than that.

Very possible. Also possible is that it's just a distraction to keep people's minds off of climategate.
