During the Bush administration, the Democrats seized on the shortage of the flu vaccine to accuse the administration of being unable to protect Americans — from either illness or terrorism. “If you can’t get flu vaccines to Americans, how are you going to protect them against bioterrorism?” Sen. John Kerry, the Democratic presidential candidate, asked in an interview with National Public Radio. “If you can’t get flu vaccines to Americans, what kind of health care program are you running?”
So in view of the shortage of the H1N1 vaccine, I must ask of John Kerry and his fellow Democrats what kind of health program is President Obama and the Democrats running anyway?
And the Democrats want to take over all of our health care system and make medical decisions for us, and hopefully protect us from bioterrorism or any other terrorist act.
Scary, isn’t it? At least President Bush protected us from any terrorist attack for eight years.
Can the Democrats do the same

Democrats did something else too. When H5N1 going human to human was in the news they worked both sides of the street. Democrats put out the line it was all scaremongering and that Cheney was making money off Tamiflu while, at the same time, blasting Bush for not stockpiling Tamiflu and not taking other measures to prepare.
Yes I remember it well and the media lapdogs went along as they are now.
During the Clinton Administration, Hillary proclaimed a "crisis" in vaccine distribution. Her plan was to sequester all vaccines in government warehouses and dole them out as a panel of experts determined.
A second piece was to force vaccine makers to sell product to the government at below market prices.
She got the second part but not the first on her plan.
The result was that many vaccine makers got out of the business rather than sell at margins so low.
Thanks for keeping history alive in these times Backhoe! Keep your servers well oiled and humming. We are al going to need them with this administration.
