It is just more of Ayn Rand’s writings coming true. There are plenty of naysayers to talk about her sophomoric writing style and all that but she nailed it all down long ago. I can almost quote word for word where she said that “free scientific inquiry” is a redundancy and government sponsored scientific inquiry is a contradiction in terms. NEVER, NEVER, NEVER trust the government or anyone who is making huge sums of money by pleasing the government.

I sometimes think that the single most amazing thing about people is that so many are so quick to believe the government before they will believe their oldest and most trusted friend.

With the left, belief in the gov’t takes on a religious level of impenatrability.

They believe that the elites have a “divine will” and that they have the best intentions and will work everything for good.

A perversion of Rom 8:28.
