There is nothing worse than Obama.

You can float down that river in Egypt as long as you want, but it won't change reality.

And the story of 2009 is the impressive solidarity the Republicans are showing against Obamas agenda.

Yes there is. People who wear an "R" and don't mean.

Scuzzyfava
Olympia Snowe.
Arlen Specter

Specter is so without convictions that even the Dems don't really want him.

I figured you lacked the sophistication to understand my point.

I will try one last time on simpler terms.

Obama is becoming less of a long range threat everyday.

Why?

Because he and his team are so incompetent, their plans so over reaching and failing in popularity that they are collapsing under their own stupidity.

Obama is becomings a joke and quick. If the GOP just got out of the way and did nothing else he would fail in short order.

Yet he sees successes anyways, and that is in no small part due to the GOP, either by the actions of a few (Snowe and the like) or the inaction and incompetence of the many.

So now who is the threat? The person with the bad idea or the people who either by design or inaction failed to stop it despite it being obvious that to do so would have been fairly easy?

Now the only thing to deal with is the fact even if Obama does nothing from here on out we are still 3 years out from any meaningful leadership.

And just how much of that is due to their reading the tea leaves of Tea Party opposition, and of conservatives like ourselves, that tell them that their tenure is very insecure?

Just how much of that is due to overt fear over their reelection, for being RINOs in the first place?

This is one of the most discouraging threads I've seen since that thread that claimed that unless someone pledged support for Sarah Palin, they should be "purged" from the Republican party.

This attitude is political suicide. If they mean to get rid of ALL so-called RINOS and replace them with RATs, I fail to see the advantage of that.

If they want to get rid of RINOs and replace them with conservatives, great, I'm all for it but this is extremely disheartening as I see no plan to improve our country at all--only surrender.

Sorry, I have not read this whole thread so may be missing some voices of reason but for the most part, I only see hysteria and radicalness.

This is no plan at all for accomplishing a conservative agenda. This mindset says its better to lose and continue to retreat than to use some RINOs.

Last Sat. night, I was glad for a few RINOs.

Besides, the bigots on here even call me names and a RINO. They couldn't be more wrong but I will never allow a RAT to defeat a Republican if I have any power to do anything about it.

The fear of Obama is not going to convince me to support anything with an R next to it.

“Republican solidarity” this year is about getting re-elected next year and has nothing to do with authentic conversion to a conservative position.

It really is about less government, lower taxes and more freedom.

They are non-negotiable at this point.

I still remember Rush Limbaugh debating a guy who then worked for George W Bush at the White House and now works for RNC.

Ed Gillespie was challenged about eliminating federal agencies like the Department of Education.

Ed Gillespie said “That’s not going to happen.”

Well, Republicans, it had better start happening for real because enough is enough.

The GOP in the House pushed a 3.1 trillion dollar budget plan this year as opposed to the Democrats 3.5 trillion dollar one.

The real “solidarity” of Republicans in Washington seems to be for big spending government as usual.
