This is one of the most discouraging threads I've seen since that thread that claimed that unless someone pledged support for Sarah Palin, they should be "purged" from the Republican party.

This attitude is political suicide. If they mean to get rid of ALL so-called RINOS and replace them with RATs, I fail to see the advantage of that.

If they want to get rid of RINOs and replace them with conservatives, great, I'm all for it but this is extremely disheartening as I see no plan to improve our country at all--only surrender.

Sorry, I have not read this whole thread so may be missing some voices of reason but for the most part, I only see hysteria and radicalness.

This is no plan at all for accomplishing a conservative agenda. This mindset says its better to lose and continue to retreat than to use some RINOs.

Last Sat. night, I was glad for a few RINOs.

Besides, the bigots on here even call me names and a RINO. They couldn't be more wrong but I will never allow a RAT to defeat a Republican if I have any power to do anything about it.

I think the bottom line here is we should not allow "RINO" politicians to tiller or paddle the conservative row boat leftward as the current is already taking us. They are already in the boat, but should we allow them to determine the course? Furthermore, if they won't help row the boat against the leftward current, then perhaps we should get rowers who will.

Okay, the analogy kind of sucks, but I tried.

Last Sat. night, I was glad for a few RINOs.

Yes. But they can and have hurt us the same way too. It is the nature of the "RINO" beast.

I’m not a RINO. I am a conservative. However, I am aware that not every Republican is a hard core conservative and I doubt every Republican elected from here on out will always be a hard core conservative. Every Democrat isn’t a hard core liberal(Blue Dogs).
That’s why I’m staying off this thread. It’s not worth my time to fight on here. I know that I will never vote for a liberal and I will also do everything in my power to get them out of office. If it means voting for a Rino, and there are only 2 choices, the Rino or the liberal.... I’m not sitting home to help the Progressive liberal nutjob win and further destroy my country.
We were told, ‘A republic, if you can keep it”. To me, that means whatever it takes. Making sure rats get elected by sitting home if a Rino is the Republican choice is certainly not trying to save the Republic. It’s a good way to make it into a one party system and never get it back. They have to be stopped NOW and I don’t care what it takes to do it. 7 more years of Obongo the Marxist is not an option. Not for me it’s not.
Nobody tells me who I can or cannot vote for. They can preach all day long but when I enter that voting booth, nobody except me and God know who I voted for. I can assure you it won’t be for any damn rat. The only way I would ever vote for a rat is if they were conservative and the Republican candidate was a liberal.
