It only took CNN six days to notice the growing international scandal known as Climategate, and when it finally reported on the matter, it predictably did so by downplaying the significance.
Maybe even more embarrassing for the supposedly "Most Trusted Name In News," Russia Today did a far better job of detailing what happened at Britain's Climate Research Unit and how the global warming debate is impacted by it.
Throughout her report on Wednesday's "The Situation Room," CNN correspondent Brooke Baldwin regularly referred to the "global warming consensus."
Even worse, she complained about there being "very little context" in the e-mail messages hacked from a "climate research institute," but never actually read ONE complete message or named ONE of the scientists involved.
Baldwin also withheld from viewers the connection these scientists have to the United Nations' Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change as well as their ties to the White House and Congressional Democrats (videos embedded below the fold with CNN transcript):

Expecting to find real Journalism on CNN is like expecting to get blood out of an oyster.
Of course this isn’t big news to CNN. They are too invested in global warming themselves.
Remember, media bias isn’t just the way stories are covered, it’s also deciding what stories get covered and which ones get buried. I expect this climate gate to be downplayed. But they will push Sarah Palin’s daughter’s ex-boyfriend in our face. And they report that his mother was busted for drugs or some other legal problems. And they will fact check Sarah Palin’s book, as much bigger news that climate gate.
What’s more important — the global warming freaks misrepresenting data, which our government wants to use to make long range policy decisions, or Bristol Palin’s ex-boyfriend?????????
Media continues with the coverup.
And.....on a Wednesday before a 4-day weekend.
That takes guts. This is the type of courage that allows CNN to maintain hundreds of loyal viewers.
That and the fact that most of them are either wheelchair-bound or bed-ridden

A long read, but not that technical. Using emails, this depicts, in chronological order over several YEARS, one researcher's futile attempts to secure information from CRU even as they are gaming and violating the British FOIA and stonewalling from the inside. The inside emails, of course, are from the leaked CRU stuff. A FASCINATING read for anyone with the perseverence to stick with it.

CNN is, and always has been, a major cog in the machinery of the socialist-industrial complex. They are only doing what their Democrat party masters expect them to do. Fortunately, that channel is dying by the thousand cuts it continues to inflict on itself with “reporters” like Brooke Baldwin and “reports” like this one. I have absolutely no doubt that Baldwin was handed her talking points by fellow Democrat party operatives.
Maybe Russia can open up a “Radio free United States” or VOR. “Voice of Russia”, broadcast so our citizens don’t have to live in the dark.

After years of hand wringing and tear shedding over dying Polar bears and rising oceans, you’d think all the lefties would be joyous and relieved to learn that the Earth is not “in peril”.
The fact that they are trying to perpetuate the fraud by ignoring the CRU hoax revelations just proves that it is all about spreading socialism, bleeding America of our wealth, and creating a “one world government.”
