I shop from home on the Internet! How lazy is that? :-)

Food, too?

I shop from the internet too. That doesn't change the fact that so much leisure has created a nation (well, almost) full of fat people. Robots are good but they are also a bane. JMHO.

Hmmm, all of the micro processors I know of (very few) have support for C and Java. Not all that familar with Python always thought it was a scripting language. Anyway, the problem is not so much the programming language but all the different chips and all the diferent means of programming those chips. A good general overview of the popular micro chips used in enbedded systems and how to program them would be nice.

I started doing that in late 2007 but hurricane Ike took all my chips, books and tons of other stuff away. Well I might still have a bread board or two here somewhere. lol

Wow. Bummer! That's awful.

Python is a higher level language. If you're looking for something to do chip level programming I can't help you. C (not necessarily c++) is pretty much universal but even then there are exceptions. And I am no authority on this as my programming days are over. I just thought I'd drop the Python idea in there because I like it. You might, too, if it serves your needs. :0)

Anyone REALLY understand why the robot revolution is spearheaded by Japan?

1. They have an inherent affection for robots
2. They have lots of tech capital
3. They practice continual improvement
4. They like technology
5. THEY DON’T HAVE OUT OF CONTROL IMMIGRATION

If the US controlled it’s borders we would have had muuuuch richer agricultural automation, and from an earlier time, too.
