This is disturbing enough when it comes from individual political left-wingers – but what happens when they are appointed to unaccountable positions of government power, as in the case of the legion of Marxist czars with which Obama has surrounded himself? This very website reported recently that "regulatory czar" Cass Sunstein, at least according to what he's written in his own book, wants to muzzle conservatives for daring to oppose the president – and wants to take sweeping totalitarian measures that would silence free political speech on the Internet in the guise of anti-libel regulations. And who could forget Nancy Pelosi's crocodile tears, affected as she equated protesting Democrat legislation with fomenting hatred and threatening murder? This was the attitude repeatedly displayed by publicly arrogant, secretly insecure Democrats when confronted by the tea party phenomenon: Anyone who speaks out against them is guilty of hatred – of the manufactured crime of making these leftists "uncomfortable."

Newly appointed White House counsel Bob Bauer is "perfectly positioned to be tasked with erasing the tracks between Obama and ACORN," one Republican lawmaker charged Friday.
The hiring was announced this morning shortly after Greg Craig officially resigned the post (Craig screwed-up the Guantanmo closing and liberals were gunning for him*).
Hiring Bauer is an attempt by the White House to deflect any fallout that may arise from an ACORN investigation currently underway in Louisiana, said Rep. Steve King (R-Iowa).
“Bauer has a public record of defending Barack Obama’s relationship with ACORN, the congressman told supporters. "Bauer’s hiring appears to be a tactical maneuver to strategically defend the White House exactly one week after Louisiana Attorney General Buddy Caldwell raided ACORN's national headquarters in New Orleans and seized paper records and computer hard drives that may lead to the White House.”
According to Cong King, Bauer -- who worked for Obama during his 2008 presidential campaign -- was they key player in a politicized fight between the campaign and President George W.
