“Do Muslims celebrate a similar day of thanks to their Creator?”

Yes, they chant the satanic verses in the Koran. They pray for beheading of infidels.

That’s why we passed the Recovery Act that cut taxes for 95 percent of working people and for small businesses—Obama Thanksgiving address (see Read and Weep reference in earlier post)

I just wanted to remind everyone that these supposed “tax cuts” was not what you and I think of when we think tax cuts. The cuts were in the withholding tables and NOT in the tax brackets. What this means is that all those who voted for Hope and Change are in for a shock come April 15 when that big fat tax refund they were waiting on is sucked out by the shell game that was played on them. When you hear one of them bellyaching ask the question, “Who'd you vote for?” If they say Obama, simply reply “serves you right.” and walk away before they can respond. If they say McCain, simply reply, “Serves you right for not voting for a conservative in the primaries.” and walk away.

I can’t bring bring myself to listen to this guy for even a second. Why is he always yelling when he gives speeches? He probably thinks he’s sound like Martin Luther King. He just sounds like an idiot.

Have you heard the soundbite where Zero is asked in front of a bunch of 5th graders which historical figure would he most like to sit and have dinner with? He hummed and stuttered for 10 solid seconds and never answered the questions. The kids’ uncomfortable laughs made it even more painful. Come on, this guy couldn’t say Abraham Lincoln or Martin Luther King even?! I guess all of his idols are people that he can’t publicly admit to.

Why diminish this great speech with anti-intellectual rhetoric?

Because that's what they do best. :(

He yells like a “community organizer” whipping up the folks in his “community” to demand, demand, demand, ‘cause they are entitled, entitled, entitled. Or does any group of people before him remind him of a SEIU or ACORN rally?

He apparently can’t tell the difference, but we can.

He even managed to SCREW THAT UP. “When President Lincoln set aside the National Day of Thanksgiving for the first time — to celebrate America’s “fruitful fields,” “healthful skies,” and the “strength and vigor” of the American people — it was in the midst of the Civil War, just when the future of our very union was most in doubt. So think about that. When times were darkest, President Lincoln understood that our American blessings shined brighter than ever.”
The only problem is that, as Ed Morrissey points out, George Washington proclaimed November 26th as the first National Day of Thanksgiving way back in 1789. We’re celebrating our 220th Thanksgiving as a nation.

Sorry I missed that. I had to cut the dogs toenails.

Was it in Spanish and have a shout out to Allah?

During my Thanksgiving Day Dinner Blessing, my words concluded when I gave special thanks to our President...

[intentially, I pause, when all eyes turned towards me in surprise, I broke the pause with one word:]

Washington

Have a great weekend...
