You can’t make this stuff up!
“3. ... all profits and benefits that are got by trade, traffic, trucking, working, fishing, or any other means of any person or persons, remain still in the common stock until the division.”
Today that would most likely read:
3. ... all profits and benefits that are got by marijuana trade, drug traffic, illegal cigarette trucking, prostitution working, dumpster fishing, or any other means of any person or persons, remain still in the common stock until the division.”
Now that is a good and true post, neverdem—a good and objective bit of history. Thanks!
Thanks for the detailed history. I have heard this before - but not with quite as much detail.
Some think that Paul of the Gospels, when he was raising money for the Christian Jews in Jeruselum, was doing so because of their failing attempt at communal living.

The factual history described in this article are what led to:
The Miracle of America
from
axes and hoes to high technology;
log cabins to air-conditioned condos;
horsedrawn wagons to autos, planes, and rockets;
scarcity to abundance; &
from tyrannical government rule to individual liberty
THIS IS HOW IT ALL BEGAN
Those who, today, favor central government planning, common ownership and redistribution of the earnings of others are advocating a system that Americans tried and rejected over 350 years ago. Their wisdom gave birth to the great American miracle!
Are we as wise today? See ideas of liberty
