Some great numbers to head into the Thanksgiving holiday from Scott Rasmussen. Rasmussen has released some numbers for the 2012 Presidential Election with the usual Republican suspects.
Single-issue candidates don't do well in presidential elections.
In any event, Dobbs has latched onto the wrong single-issue.
It's not illegal immigration, it's the economy.
Not if it’s Romney: in that case I vote neither he nor Obama. Same as 2008.
Romney wouldn’t save anything, let alone the USA (from the Communist). He is more hack Republican RINO.
Exactly! But it really does not matter to me WHO replaces Barack Hussein Obama, the Kenyan born imposter.
“well, according to polls during primaries, self-identified conservatives supported Romney most.”
That’s all fine, except he isn’t conservative. He spent a lot of his personal fortune getting that lie in front of the American people. Thompson was the only candidate in the primaries that was conservative, and he got in late and left early.
I like the lady. I’m hoping she becomes a household word in even liberal households before long.
The thing I like about the “quitter” line is that it’s proof they don’t have anything else against her. It’s all they’ve got.
She didn’t want to drag Alaska through another 2 years of hundreds and hundreds of frivolous lawsuits so she cut the ground out from under the DNC lawsuit machine (Alaska annex) by handing power to her duly-elected second-in-command and THEY want to call that quitting.
Fine. Let them call it that. That’s the only thing they’ve “got” on Sarah. I hope for their sake they don’t make themselves look TOO stupid playing that same old note over and over again.
Meanwhile, the groundswell of support for Palin grows.
Given that Romney -- nor Huckabee, nor Thompson, nor Giuliani -- could defeat the weakest GOP candidate since Alf Landon, no 2008 Republican candidate is qualified for the presidency. You are so right about that. McCain was a 14-carat loser from the start and if it hadn't been for Palin he would have lost the general election by a Mondale Margin.
And yet the others couldn't beat him in the primary. Shows how weak the others are.
I am going out on a limb by saying that a Libertarian will never be elected POTUS. I agree with libertarians on a lot of issues. But there is something self-contradictory about libertarians uniting into a political party. It is like herding cats.
Palin should offer to make him the Czar of Immigration under her administration. That would ignite a powder keg.
Don't think so!
If Romney has caught up with Obama, imagine what a blowout a decent candidate would have against the Bummer. Im cheering for Sarah Palin...
Romney is polling ahead of Palin.
That isn’t what you said, you said She didn’t have the name recognition. But even if you use your new criteria, I would venture to say that EVERBODY knows Palin’s stance on abortion, but depending on which YOUTUBE video you saw where Romney is proclaiming his stance on abortion, you could think he is VERY pro abortion or pro life.
