Glad that you know that too...I don’t meet many who do, but Joyce, who hated the Church because it would have made him grow up and treat his wife properly, secretly loved it because it was true. And he was an Irishman, and like Spaniards, they’re completely unacommodating and want to be able to thumb their nose at the truth...but they want to know what it is and they want people to acknowledge it.
