We will also see a dramatic decrease in our standard of living as a result of this madness.
But I guess creating a new class of poor doesn’t matter when you’re too busy worshipping at the alter of political correctness to give a damn.

When I was a kid, I remember riding in a car past some houses made entirely of glass.
I asked my Daddy what these were.
Dad explained that these glass houses were “Greenhouses”, wonderful places where farmers could use the light and heat from the sun, capture it under glass, and control it to grow food and flowers and any kind of vegetables all year round, and not have to worry about weather, or bugs, or crop failure.
Isn’t that great?
BUT, just like with the Rainbow, the Cross, Conservation, Kindness to Animals, and Religious Tolerance, The liberals have taken something REALLY NICE and made it something NASTY.

The only way to achieve a 17% drop is to kill off the 29% of Americans who "strongly approve" of the way Obi is handling his job, and eliminate all EPA regulations on those of us remaining who produce things.
Therefore, I endorse this commitment.
Frowning takes 68 muscles.
Smiling takes 6.
Pulling this trigger takes 2.
I'm lazy.

If he and Michelle could stop jet-setting around with their entourage and flying hamburgers in from across the land, and if he could stop blathering and dithering on TV constantly, I believe we could reduce it by 17% then and there.

The reality is that it’s not as far fetched as you may think. 25-30% unemployment will shut down quite a few things.

My thought too. An Obama promise is as good as....as.....as good as this very day is long ! iow....the promise will expire within 24 hours. No worries here, imho.
Of course, the UN and IPCC know Obie's promises are useless too......

Let him promise whatever he wants.
Given his history of broken promises to Americans, I’m not too worried.
BTW, where is his middle class tax cut?

It seems data and numbers don’t mean anything these days. The government has “saved or created 400,000 jobs.” Global Warming scientists can manipulate data and hide the evidence. The recession is over. Government Healthcare will save $150 billion by spending $850 billion......
Obama should just tell them we will cut CO2 emissions by 117%. Next yeat we can say, “See, we did it. I have this peice of paper that says we have actually cut and reduced CO2 on this planet by 117%.”
Then we can quit the BS.

If only we could get a 17% cut in spending, and a 17% cut in UNemployment claims, and a 17% cut in layoffs, and a 17% cut in televised obama speeches, and a 17% in dems who support healthcare and cap & trade...
The dirty little secret is that he's probably already got the "fix" in on the cuts, which makes this promise easy to keep because we're already there.
AND...
Since "climate-gate" has surfaced, the 2005 greenhouse gas numbers are no doubt BOGUS anyway...just telling the truth about the numbers would probably result in much smaller numbers than just a 17% reduction.
It's all a hoax, smoke and mirrors politics.

It is a shame he isnt promising half that in a drop of U.S. unemployment. What are you talking about? Don't you read the news? Obama has saved or created 400,000 jobs and the recession is over.
