Blame the inculcation of Darwinism into our collective psyche for it to be more offensive to portray a black person as a simian than a white person.
This is an outright admission that the offended believe that blacks are less evolved, ie, closer to monkeys, than humans.
All people decended from the same 2 people who were created by the Creator of all we know. All people are created in God’s image, so it should be equally offensive to portray Bush as a monkey as it is to do the same to the 0bamas.
