You wack job liberals have been telling me the temps are going up and the seas are rising for years now. Well I’m still waiting, freezing my butt off, looking for my ocean front property to magically appear. Maybe one more day, just one more day and it will happen. NOT

well, MY research shows the earth could heat up by 10 degrees by next summer!! And all the deposited snow and ice will go AWAY!!!!
But, before that happens, clouds will come, and the days will shorten, PLANTS WILL DIE!! It’ll get cold (women and children, not to mention butterflies hit hardest).

“dozen-beer” theory. -------------------------- I tested this theory also and noted that the temperature difference was directly related to the time of day and time of year that beer at room temperature was taken outside. In my trials in January and at night the beer got colder, not warmer so the theory turns out to be junk science and the evidence tainted. And don't call me a flat earther. /s

I think that I have heard that the ice restraining the WAIS, West Antarctic Ice Sheet, is breaking up. This will allow ice to flow into the ocean at greater rates. I have also seen it suggested that there may be active vulcanism under the ice sheet that melts the ice resulting in water that lubricates the bottom of the sheet and causes greater flow. When the ice sheet enters the ocean and melts it would raise sea levels.
If this really becomes a problem and we lose say, Florida, then we dig a trench at the northern end of the great rift vally in Africa and flood it. Central Africa is pretty dry and I suspect that the inhabitants would probably be happy to get some fish in their diet and a little rain from the new inland ocean.

The highest tides in the world are in the Bay of Fundy between Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. They deal with up to a 50 foot rise and fall in sea level daily. Somehow they survive.

That's only because the rise in our oceans (from melting ice) is offset by water lost when our oceans drain off the edge of the world. I was thinking of the possibility that Global Warming was causing the all extra water from ice cap melt to evaporate.

The planet could warm by seven degrees Celsius (10.8 degrees Fahrenheit) and sea levels could rise by more than a metre (3.25 feet) by 2100......and Rosie O'Donnell could be the next Pope.
...and Matt Millen could become NFL Commissioner.
...and Satan could lace up his skates and pirouette around the Infernal Ice-rink.
