That’s the number I wanted to see. The -15 approval index is nice, but 54% overall disapproval is the big one and is also a new low.

It’s a long way to go till 2012 or even 2010. If this were August 2010 and not Nov 2009 I’d feel more confident. But some improving job numbers, an agreement, even if paper thin, with iran on nukes, and the lack of an identifiable GOP program could bring the haloed one back to 55% and his strong approvals up to 40%. If the strongly disapprove can go to 45-47% and be sustained till Easter then we can be confident, but here at Thanksgiving it’s just too early.

My local rag must have had two stories a week about how George W. Bush's approval rating had, again, dropped to an all new low. Oddly, with Obama, nary a peep. Don't see much about the Global Warming Fraud either. Imagine that. (its the Buffalo News, by the way)
