This is downright Orwellian. What the Post describes is not a vigorous debate but an attempt to suppress debate--to politicize the process of scientific inquiry so that it yields a predetermined result. This does not, in itself, prove the global warmists wrong. But it raises a glaring question: If they have the facts on their side, why do they need to resort to tactics of suppression and intimidation?
These people need to be tried and thrown in jail for the rest of their lives.
And made to pay back all the money that taxpayers have thrown down this hole...

In fact, a five-year-old, just like the ones getting screwed by the fine print in those commercials, could smell a rat with this statement. What we need is for the UK authorities to take some action on the FOI conspiracy and hang these guys out to dry.

A paper whose reporter, Andrew C. Revkin was a co-conspirator in the hoax (or, to be more charitable, a mouthpiece for the conspirators).
Media Matters, the Center for American Progress and the NYTs were, right out of the box, screaming about "context" and these scientists being human, after all. Passionate about their work and just a little overheated.
But it's more than the emails. The fraud is written inside the code:

It’s one thing to gripe and complain about these things and disagree with it, but it’s quite another to convince your friends and neighbors and relatives and coworkers...
THEREFORE..., it’s also absolutely necessary for people to know the information in the following documentary. If there were simply one video that you could see and/or show people you know... this would be the one...
