I think they should be thoroughly discredited and have the pants sued off of them for all the money and resources that have gone down the drain because of their lies. I think they should end up penniless and homeless. Globull warming is the hoax of 2 centuries.
Now, here is a real example of a vast, left wing conspiracy, unlike Hillary Clinton and her false right wing conspiracy claim. As is typical of the Democrats (and other Marxists), whenever they allege wrongdoing, they are talking about themselves!
IMO this is the most serious breach of trust that this country has ever had. Whenever you bend the laws of physics and science to meet some preconceived utopian view of the world, we are in great trouble. The USA has wasted billions of dollars supporting false science, that is taking action on a false premise.

Yet even a partial review of the emails is highly illuminating. In them, scientists appear to urge each other to present a "unified" view on the theory of man-made climate change while discussing the importance of the "common cause"; to advise each other on how to smooth over data so as not to compromise the favored hypothesis; to discuss ways to keep opposing views out of leading journals; and to give tips on how to "hide the decline" of temperature in certain inconvenient data.

A failure of integrity led by Brits, imagine that.
Imagine what is going on with these people right now, the vision is thrilling!
I, and many others, said that the global warming political hacks did not have the data to support their conclusions. We said it for years. Now we are proven correct. I do not want satisfaction.
I want blood.
I endured every kind of insult imaginable for making my claim and standing by it. I can honestly say that those on my side would have endured less animosity if we had been outed as members of the Ku Klux Klan.
Let’s start with Penn State. The evidence that the university provided false information for political gain is clear. This science is settled. Michael Mann and his conspirators falsified data, lied about conclusions, suppressed dissent, slandered their opposition, and behaved like Nazis to prove their claims about the untermenschen. Stalinist Russia would be proud.
Peer review is supposed to make sure that this does not happen. The academic system is supposed to ensure that scientists who make false claims will not have the seeming approval of major universities and research departments to lend them credibility. Penn State failed in this regard, and it failed in the worst possible way.
Penn State’s academic committees ignored Mann’s refusal to release his data, as well as obvious signs that he had something to hide. I hold that entire institution responsible, as well as any other university system that was involved. They failed to see this for what it is. I submit that they failed because they wanted to fail, not because they were lazy or stupid. I submit that they sought power at the cost of accuracy and veracity, which means that any research completed by them must bear questionable conclusions.
Peer review at Penn State was a yay - hoo chorus whose theme was that they would sell any truth to whatever lie provided the most money and the most power. That institution, as a whole, must be discarded. Those responsible should find employment digging ditches.
They are not the only ones who whould suffer this fate.
