No, there's a lot more to it than that. If she wins, she immediately becomes a presidential contender. And what this country DOESN'T need is yet another Mitt Romney-style liberal in the larder of GOP presidential contenders.

I think California deserves all three, frankly.Maybe so, but they (will) impact the whole country, not just CA. This race should be of interest to all outside of CA as it has an impact at the National level, not just the state level.
It would be in all of our interests to educate ourselves about who's running and support the most conservative candidate.
