Carter, is the most influential President in my life time. Without him we still own the Panama Canal. Without him we still have a stable government in Iran. Without him we wouldn't have had Ronald Reagan. One could go on and on.

I was in junior high when this idiot became president. We lived out of the country (military) and I remember all of the food ration coupons for coffee and sugar not to mention the gas rations because of him. In 1980 interest rates ran 18% for good credit in Washington State. He gutted the military and destroyed the economy. I live in Georgia and some of these people still love him because he is a hometown boy. I wouldn’t spit on him if he was on fire. On a side note...my son is in Iraq, day 47.
