The Democrats are seriously disconnected from reality. Seriously. To pass things like the health bill, immigration amnesty, and cap and trade during the best of times would be extremely foolish. To pass this during a recession is suicidal.
Private health insurance will not be able to compete with a federal government that can consistently undercut them on premiums and ask taxpayers to pick up the difference.
Oh well, American prosperity was nice while it lasted.

Oh well, American prosperity was nice while it lasted. It sure was. I feel bad for my adult children and grandkids. They are facing a tough future.

Prosperity is a corrollary of freedom.
Forget prosperity per se; it is freedom that was nice while it lasted.

That is the ruse, the “undercutting” is only to force them out of business, then the price will be unbearable for all. thus, no health care for he masses, unless you are SEIU or ACORN or CONGRESS!
As soon as this is rammed down our throats constitutional challenges must begin.

The combination of the health bill, amnesty and other initiatives like the census only look foolish if you believe that any one of these people is worried about reelection. That is not to jump on the 'there will never be another election' bandwagon. Communist countries have 'elections' all the time. These initiatives will give the left a permanent majority and there will be no pause in their rush to extinguish what remains of our rights and freedoms.
