Check the fallacies involved in dendrochronolgy, i.e. tree ring growth estimation and temperature proxy data, as well as Mike Mann's ignoring of the Little Ice Age, especially the Maunder Minimum, when the Swedish Army marched across the frozen Baltic Sea and surprised the Danes into surrender!

I haven’t stopped laughing since I first read about this yesterday. The same type of correspondence could easily be found at any institution with alarmist leanings. This is just the tip of the iceberg. These people feel that the ends justify the means and will do anything to sell their point of view. Let the cover-up begin! Security is being tightened and email back-ups are being scrubbed everywhere this morning.
