Sure. Got any contact information that doesn’t lead to a dead end with some gatekeeper like Mark DeMoss?

But remember in the bad old days, one of the reason the Church in the Iron Curtain was so ineffective for so long was that everyone distrusted everyone else.

The Church behind the Iron Curtain was constantly being infiltrated with KGB operatives who looked and sounded like the real thing. The only way to smoke them out was to have a designated individual make an anti-Soviet comment in the suspected person's presence, and then wait to see if an arrest (including a five-year prison sentence) followed.

Not exactly ideal conditions for trust, if you ask me.

How many times has this been posted? Is there just that one other thread, or do you know if there are more?

Anything posted to you made you change your mind about the stuff you mentioned in the other messagethread?

Thanks.

Not if the "front" is controlled by Mark DeMoss and Mitt Romney and their money.

So you think some poor guy is going to rise up and lead the opposition? For pete's sake, we are being strangled while we wait for the "perfect leader." It's TIME TO ACT!! Actually, it's probably too late for anything except violence. Then who are you going to follow?

[[Called the “Manhattan Declaration,” the six-page, single-spaced document]]

They should make it 2074 pages- democrats love big numbers

Again, forgive me if my responses come sporadically. I'm juggling a lot today and am trying to get back here as I can.

I know of least one signatory, Tony Perkins, who, in addition to being one of the primary promoters of Mitt Romney, and whose associated "Christian" organizations have enjoyed substantial financial largesse from the same, has been one of the cheerleaders for the Stupak Amendment, which among other bad stuff, allows federal funding for the purpose of killing the children of rapists and perpetrators of incest.

I wonder if the signers really mean what they say, especially concerning the word I'm bolding below:

"In this declaration we affirm: 1) the profound, inherent, and equal dignity of every human being as a creature fashioned in the very image of God, possessing inherent rights of equal dignity and life;..."

Then who are you going to follow?

I'll tell you what I tell everyone else: Quit looking for a leader and be a leader.

Then will you follow me because I'm today I'm leading a group to protest ObamaCare bill vote tonight?

I didn't think so. I'm sure you can find an intellectual argument against me. So why don't YOU lead?

You’re making an unjust assumption. I’ve done my part in opposing the Obama faction and their unconstitutional, ungodly, destructive policies.

Tell me your worthwhile project. Give me links. I’ll put the word out to thousands of activists across the country immediately.

When pressed to say what sorts of civil disobedience the writers were proposing, its originators were vague on the details

Since punishment must match the crime, in the same way, the disobedience must match the governmental offense.

If tax money going to abortion is the offense, then a withholding of taxes into escrow (perhaps a Swiss account?) is the proper response.

If a requirement to endorse same-sex marriage is the offense, then I'd recommend a removal of all Christian marriages solely to the ecclesiastical realm for HOLY matrimony.

If pastors and churches are forbidden to engage in "political" speech, then the proper response is to speak louder.
