Psychology Today Writer: Palin ‘A Very Special Liar’

The Associated Press "fact check" of Sarah Palin's new book wasn't enough. Now the left is just coming out and claiming Palin is a flat out liar. That was the argument made by Bella DePaulo in a Psychology Today blog entitled "Sarah Palin's Lies."

DePaulo, who has a Harvard Ph.D. in psychology and experience in analyzing lying, claims Palin excels at it. "From my post as an outside observer, it seems to me that Sarah Palin doesn't care much about the truth. In that way, she is a very special liar," she wrote in the Nov. 19 "Living Single" blog.

Neither this post nor the NB article are going to have much of an impact, if one’s goal is to get the fact that DePaulo isn’t credible into search engines. In fact, NB actually hurts their supposed cause by linking to the PT article using Palin’s name in the link text, increasing the chances that PT’s article will appear in searches for Palin’s name.

Perhaps it is old Bella who needs ‘the couch’. Because, after all, being a Harvard whatsit does not, most assuredly, place her within the province of exclusively honest and forthright people.

I’m certain, there are many “authorities” at Harvard and elsewhere who are deeply fearful and resentful of Sarah Palin. It’s interesting to observe their unwinding pathologies. Someone should study ol’ Bella.

She has been a Visiting Professor of Psychology at the University of California, Santa Barbara since the summer of 2000.

A Visiting Professor is kind of low on the academic totem pole. Why is she still Visiting after 9 years? Why no tenure?

Is she a Visiting Assistant Professor, Visiting Associate Professor or Visiting Full Professor? Something is pecu-liar about this person's career.

First of all, with what I've seen of the products of Harvard in the last few years, I wouldn't be touting it too loud if I was this guy...Harvard now stands for "Corruption U.".

So he has experience in analyzing lying...and we've not heard a peep out of him regarding one of his own alumni? A 5th grader could detect and expose obama with his blatant lies, but his renowned genious hasn't published a word about it?

What a way for him to get his 15 minutes of fame...analyze the pretend president. He could start with a review of obama's experiences at Harvard - OH sorry...those records are "sealed". How about zero's relationship with Ayers and Rev. Wright?

If this Harvard geek had any brains he wouldn't have climbed out of the closet the same day as all the others in slamming Palin...right here in the middle of her book tour.

Of course, we know the kenyan's problem with it...she's knocked him off the front page, and he's not the lead story on TV news for a couple nights...his ego can't take one upmanship...or is that one upwomanshhip?
