so okay, it looks good.

But a)I’m thinking you already got your turkey and what...cut off the parts you don’t want? Or are these turkey parts from a prior year.

and b)so you roasted all this and you got good stuff, you use the juices to make gravy? I’m thinking this would make great soup stock. I’m a real soup afficiando and love to make some hearty, brothy soup out of leftover turkey.

Enlighten us wannabe Top Chefs.

No! The turkey just started thawing today. A frozen 20 pounder. I bought the wings fresh yesterday just to make this broth - and just to make turkey gravy - for everything that will be leftovers until the end of Jan.

And yes! I did this to make gravy - why have leftover turkey and no gravy! What is a slab of turkey on a piece of toast without gravy. Or a side of mashed potatoes and a slice of white meat turkey in early Jan. with no gravy? So So Boring!

You can make a soup out of it - but I want gravy until the turkey runs out!
