Exemptions for religious objectors, undocumented immigrants, prisoners, those earning less than the poverty line, members of Indian tribes, and hardship cases

I am a religious objector to tax increases, and exemptions for illegal aliens.

Any idea what “religious objectors” means in the list of exemptions at the top of the document? It seems rather out of place.

(BTW, I graduated from UIUC in ‘06.)
