So Dr told me I had swine flu...gave me Tamiflu and in 4 days I was pretty much back to my normal self. But what’s this about getting it twice??? Wouldn’t we be immune...or maybe it was misdiagnosed?

I have heard from reliable sources that once you've had it, you are immune. But there are some flu-obsessed FReepers who insist otherwise and they'll argue relentlessly with you on this. (I just gave up.)

Did Tamiflu even kill off the cough quickly? My other symptoms only lasted a few days, but that cough went on for about three weeks.

I was so glad to finally get over that!

As far as i know you are immune for some time after you had it. but then again i guess you are only immune for the exact virus strain you had. and since its a given fact that the virus mutates you can easy get it again.

The cough is the one thing that’s lasted. I just can’t get rid of it but other than that I feel perfect.

There is a Tamiflu resistant mutation going around now...
