ays after the ADL pandered to its liberal adherents with a report that attempted in part to link mainstream conservative critics of the Obama administration with extremists, the venerable watchdog group tilted in the other direction with a blast aimed at J Street, the leftist lobby that seeks to undermine the pro-Israel consensus in Washington. According to the Jewish Telegraphic Agency, ADL national director Abe Foxman called up the wire service last night to condemn J Street for its attack on Sarah Palins recent statement opposing Obamas stand on Jewish settlements. JTAs Capital J blog said Foxman termed J Streets statement over the line and wondered whether the group should be calling itself pro-Israel.

Let’s hope so. I am so sick and tired of these self hating jews. They live here, yet dont know a damn thing about Israel nor do they care
ADL is a fascist hate group.
They know little enough about this country...
Sarah favors Israel’s right to make its own decisions about its territory, and their right to expand their settlements as they grow.
They can’t get over their idea that she doesn’t know what she’s talking about, so even when she agrees with them, they have to nit-pick at it. She says Israel is going to grow, and will need room to grow. On that score she agrees with Netanyahu. And most conservative Americans, for that matter.
Not with Foxman in charge. He will get it right every now and then, though, like with this one.
He can't get past his liberalism and wrongheaded fear that conservative Christians are anti-Semitic. He just doesn't get that we're on the same side and his beloved liberals in the U.S. and Europe are now the ones ready to throw the Isreali Jews under the bus.
