Me either. Odd string of events. On Dec 6, at least 18 posts and one entire thread (bad link was the explanation) were pulled. It seemed to have started with this MOD explanation:

“The Daily Mail UK has a copyright restriction imposed upon Free Republic requiring all of their articles to be properly excerpted and linked. Your post which continues the excerpted article violates that copyright restriction and puts Free Republic at risk of copyright infringement lawsuits.”

Please do not continue any excerpted articles in your responses. Your post will now have to be removed. “

Understanding that it is critical FR abide by the copyright restrictions, I apologized-— although I had not remembered seeing the Daily Mail UK on the FR copyright restriction list. If it is there, I am still not seeing it on the list. I am assuming the paper must be going on the next update, or I am just missing seeing it now.

Nevertheless, an additional 17 posts that I have found so far were pulled in those early hours of the morning of Dec 6, included posts going back to at least Dec 4 -— all without explanation. One post I can remember was the very important SCOTUS dissenting opinion on the ruling that gave the EPA such sweeping, unconstitutional powers. I had excerpted that opinion from a blog, and it is beyond my comprehension to know why that was removed.

You have just pointed out another example that seems to defy explanation. I research to expose the BHO adm, and it was a shock to see so much of my research removed with no explanation or ability to question why.

Simply correct what you did wrong.

I deal with the mods as little as possible so I wouldn't know.
Perhaps they see themselves as simply doing their job?
It's all above my pay grade.
