his is a rush transcript from "Glenn Beck," November 17, 2009. This copy may not be in its final form and may be updated.

GLENN BECK, HOST: Tonight, I want to talk you to a little bit about un-sustainability. It can't go on this way. It's our debt, the dollar, your money, your children's future, the deficit.

I want to show you this here so you have some framework of what we're going to talk about this hour. We are now at $12 trillion — $12 trillion. But just so you know — that's our national debt. It's like a credit card. It's the accumulation of the deficits. It is at $11.99 trillion, we rounded it to $12 trillion.

No need for the question mark, the goal seems pretty obvious at this point.

Yes, like the old sci-fi movie, “Wings Over the World,” starring Raymond Massey.

The President will call this a rush to judgment. Might need another look by an impartial group of folks.

Can I paraphrase the message?

In essence, he’s saying that Obama and company are trying begin a process that the end stage is the demize of our country as we know it, allowing for his “correction” of the problem which will lead us deeper into co -independence with other countries.. as we become a banana republic.

Why not. Coercive world government would be an improvement over Obama’s circus.

As much as I appreciate Glenn for bringing attention to all the attempts to form a One-World Government....Beck still does not get it that Free Trade (which he supports) is a major part of the One-World Government agenda.

NAFTA, CAFTA, WTO, and all associated groups...all have the same purpose: To take away sovereignty from America. All Free Trade deals take away American sovereignty, piece by piece.

Just like the Global Warming/Climate Change treaties....Free Trade deals take away American sovereingty. It is no coincidence that the same people who push Global Warming/Climate Change are also Free Trader Globalists.

Free Trade deals have actually made it easier for the Global Warming/Climate Change crowd to push their global agenda....they already have a blueprint for global governance from the bad Free Trade deals

If the government went away, we could start over. It is the government causing all of this.

What! You mean all the “kooks” of the last 20 years are right and all the “normal” people were wrong? Oh No!

one world government is the ONLY way for socialism/communism to succeed.

Even ONE capitalistic country would expose communism/socialism for the utter failure it is.

BUT, if there is nothing to compare it against, it will be a success by default.

My thoughts as well. It's time we take the concept of 1776 and apply it to the world starting in the USA first.

Instead of a one world government, we need a world run by the people for the people. With today's technology, it is doable!

You make a most excellent point tying ourselves to these treaties gives them a way to surpass congressional authority because when signed they are legally binding.

I for one have always believed they were not set up fairly for Americans to be able to compete anyway seems like they were designed to do the socialist thing if you think about it they gave developing countries the edge. This came at an enormous expense to our own people. Has always irked me why do these people have no loyalty to their own countrymen? And what would be wrong with putting your own first?

Socialism is but a stepping stone to Communism anyway and that was the plan watch the old video a Capitalist Conspiracy where fake capitalists like the banks fund Acorn, Black Panthers, etc. all to further the goal. I have it here for those who want to watch it.

It saddens me that my grandchildren will be stuck in that kind of a world with the rest of the idiots!

I think all things considering, I will vote for the US to win in all cases of free trade providing that our gov’t does not handicap us.

Free Trade aggreements have hurt our textile industry for example, but we still make some of the best commercial carpets in the world. We just automated.

STILL, lowering our business taxes would off set what we lose through free trade.

In the end, the world should benefit from a free open trading, and everyone playing by the same rules.

On the other hand, what the blank do I know...I’m not nearly as smart as people like Obama and Holder.

Too many in the US, and around the world, value one-world government over the nation-state.

I believe this attitude started in the early 19th C...as the elite royal families began to lose power to upstart nation-states. The growth of new nations in the 19th and 20th C has always been a sore spot among the global elite.

This one-worlder stuff in the US can be traced to the passing of the Income Tax in the early 20th C. Note that the US raised revenue from TARIFFS and excise taxes for the previous 140 years or so.

One of the main reasons why I am so against Free Trade is that Free Traders prefer (whether directly or indirectly) Income Taxes over Tariffs to raise government revenue

Free Trade has never really worked. And, we should have learned something back in the Civil War....when the tariff-supporting industrialized North beat the Free Trade (anti-tariff)non-industrialized South in the Civil War....and the North won mainly because they were able to produce materiel for the war effort...the South hoped that “Free Trade” would deliver materiel (it did not)
