Speaking of goats, they are vertebrate mammals.

Further, vertebrates are (according to Webster) ... “any of a large subphylum of chordate animals, including all mammals, fishes, birds, reptiles, and amphibians, characterized by a segmented spinal column and a brain enclosed in a brainpan or cranium.”

And so it is that we are backbone-related to mammals, fishes, birds, reptiles and amphibians.

Further, according to Steve Jones, “About a thousand genes are shared by every organism, however simple or complicated.”

Imagine that. The DNA code was so efficient that God used it in a wide variety of animals.

Isn't common design wonderful?
