Judge: Corps' negligence caused Katrina flooding

A federal judge has ruled that the Army Corps of Engineers' failure to properly maintain a navigation channel led to massive flooding in Hurricane Katrina.

No mention of the AC plan to protect NO, passed During LBJ that was stopped by environmentalist. Probably the single largest cause. Gee, I wonder why that is?

Because if you did, this would not be a very far fetched scenario at all.

I thought Katrina was the party at fault. She doesn’t have deep pockets though and is nowhere to be found.

As a matter of fact, I know a bunch of them, and the job they do maintaining and operating the lock & dam system on the upper Mississippi is impressive, to say the least.
Obviously, you don’t know many of them.
