Depictions took place entirely in her imagination, says Wallace.

NEW YORK - Former McCain campaign senior adviser Nicolle Wallace says Sarah Palin's book "Going Rogue" is "based on fabrications," and that the basis for Palins depictions of her and former McCain campaign director Steve Schmidt as villains "took place entirely in her imagination."
In a statement to The Rachel Maddow Show, the former McCain spokesperson repeatedly used the word "fiction" to describe Palin's narrative and echoed criticisms by other former McCain staffers.
"She [Palin] probably has a legitimate complaint that things could have been better conceived and executed. A book about that would have been painful but not entirely unfair," Wallace told an msnbc producer in an off-camera, on-the-record interview.
Wallace took particular issue with Palin's version of her interview with Katie Couric interview, which did not cast the former vice presidential candidate in a favorable light.

Same one but apparently this leopard has shed her stripes. Notice where she's been appearing --Rachel Maddow and Morning Joe. Please let me know when she appears on Hannity or O'Reilly.
BTW is there anyone more hateful of her than Norah O'Donald and Andrea Mitchell? Both women should be ashamed of themselves.
So, exactly why do think Nicolle Wallace worked for Romney? So far, the only place I’ve found the two “linked” is in posts by anti-Romney folks here at FR. If there is no evidence, it sure is a shame that Google is full of “free republic” references with inaccurate information.
Links are lovely, see if you can find one and post it for us.
Neither. It is using it as an opportunity to start attacking people. For example, Romney has nothing to do with this thread, but it is used right from the start to smear him. The attack mode continued through the thread.
She was setting the record straight and not making a big issue out of it. She spent little time on it, and went on to other things. To use it as an attack fest is to do her a disservice. It tends to diminish her by association.
We could best help her by dwelling on the positive things in the book, in my opinion.
To do otherwise is to get sucked into the trap of her opponents. We let them set the emphasis of the discourse.

Her husband Mark Wallace is Romney’s Texas Finance Chair.
Schmidt was going on about the same thing...several days before he saw the book. Eh. Egghead.
Go away Wallace and Schmidt...YOU LOST...and maybe on purpose.
The RomneyBOTs know that is the tip of the iceberg.
All the dots connect to Romney.
If Romney had helped McCain-Palin, and run for
Senator, things might have been different.
So, Dick Cheney was a Democratic Plant then?
After all, Mary Matalin was his advisor, and she was married to James Carville. So I guess James Carville worked for Dick Cheney, and we should blame Dick Cheney for whatever James Carville does.
I sure hope nobody in your family has ever done anything at all that you didn’t agree with, because I’d hate for YOU to be blamed because you were related to them. And I’d certainly hate if someone YOU worked for got blamed for something someone else in your family did or said.
Your attempt at reductio absurdum is admirable.
However, you can do a search and catch the email that a high level McCain staffer sent to Cristol busting out the Wallaces, both Mark and Nicolle.
Not only did they leak the smears to the media, Nicolle then lied and leaked that the high level advisor was fired, which he wasnt. LOL.
Your affections for Romney aside, these are the facts.
We know that Nicolle has been attacking Palin. What we don’t know, because it apparently is not true, is that Nicolle has any direct connection to Romney or his campaign.
Nor do we have any evidence that Mark, while on the Romney campaign, leaked anything about Palin (of course, I realise that by and large, Romney’s campaign was essentially over, and his staff disbursed, by the time Palin was chosen).
It wouldn’t surprise me if people who had worked on other campaigns could also decide to oppose Palin — I reject the notion that a candidate is responsible for everything any person who ever worked for their campaign ever does.
Here is the sad truth. Sarah Palin is a smart person, and a good person, who nonetheless knows exactly how to name names. She has not named Romney, so far as I can tell, I would presume by now there would be a dozen posts here if Romney was mentioned negatively in her book.
So it is unfortunate that Sarah’s supporters can’t follow her lead. McCain of course has asked his people not to attack Sarah, and his followers have NOT paid any attention to him, but I thought Sarah had a higher class of people supporting her.
Nicolle Wallace is a classic Republican in name only. She is a Bushie and a McCaniac.
Now I hate to burst the bubble of those who still support Bush and he did keep the country safe after 9/11 and I agree with some of the stuff said by his ex press secretary Dana Perino and I liked Tony Snow too.
But the same Rinos that brought us McCain also supported Bush. Just the like the same Far Left people supporting Obama supported Bill Clinton.
Thus in my mind...Bushs administration was full of these snake lizards such as Colin Powell and Nicolle is one of them Rinos. They helped to either ruin Bushs approval or got him to do the wrong thing.
That Nicolle Wallace was the token Republican on CBS speaks volumes and thus she is a McCain Rino like Meg Whitman and Carly Fiorina.
They say she is a conservative, but she isn’t no conservative. She is pure Rhino who writes on the daily beast.
What is baffling and very leftist rhino about Nicolle Wallace is that she went off record with the loser Rachel Maddow. How very nice. So this bimbo Nicolle gave MSNBC more fuel to bash Palin and tie it to her rhino McCain.
First she was too coward to go on air, but then why would she want to. Secondly she was told by idiot McCain not to say anything negative. Only then My friends (sarcasm) McCain did his own bashing over the fact that Palin according to him did not get money for being vetted.
Does this twit Nicolle not get that she is only feeding the left? Why can’t she go Fox News to address this? Why is McCain acting like a coward?
Fact the left doesn’t want to talk about anything else in the book but the fighting. But also true is that this Nicolle is a mean backstabbing witch.
Loooooooooooooooooooooooooser!
CNN has RINO Dede from the NY-23 as an expert on Sarah Palin. LOL!
Just peachy. Bottom of the barrel.
