Using borrowed money for a band-aid bailout of the economy should seem backwards to most people. However, it likely is a planned strategy to promote radical change. Those naively believing that President Obama is simply rewarding his far-left base, and will then move to the political center, must wise up.
The assumption that Obama will need the nation to prosper in order to protect the 2010 mid-term election incorrectly assumes that he esteems free market capitalism. He does not. Rather than win through superior ideas and policies, the Democrat plan for success in the mid-term elections is to win by destroying political opposition.
Obama adheres to the Saul Alinksy Rules for Radicals method of politics, which teaches the dark art of destroying political adversaries. However, that text reveals only one front in the radical left's war against America. The Cloward/Piven Strategy is another method employed by the radical Left to create and manage crisis. This strategy explains Rahm Emanuel's ominous statement, "You never want a serious crisis to go to waste."
The Cloward/Piven Strategy is named after Columbia University sociologists Richard Andrew Cloward and Frances Fox Piven. Their goal is to overthrow capitalism by overwhelming the government bureaucracy with entitlement demands. The created crisis provides the impetus to bring about radical political change.
According to Discover the Networks.org:
Rather than placating the poor with government hand-outs, wrote Cloward and Piven, activists should work to sabotage and destroy the welfare system; the collapse of the welfare state would ignite a political and financial crisis that would rock the nation... [Emphasis added.]
Making an already weak economy even worse is the intent of the Cloward/Piven Strategy. It is imperative that we view the American Recovery and Reinvestment Plan's spending on items like food stamps, jobless benefits, and health care through this end goal. This strategy explains why the Democrat plan to "stimulate" the economy involves massive deficit spending projects. It includes billions for ACORN and its subgroups such as SHOP and the Neighborhood Stabilization Program. Expanding the S-Chip Program through deficit spending in a supposed effort to "save the children" only makes a faltering economy worse.
If Congress were to allow a robust economy, parents would be able to provide for their children themselves by earning and keeping more of their own money. Democrats, quick to not waste a crisis, would consider that a lost opportunity.
The Cato Institute reports that the plan will harm a faltering economy, intentionally causing increased job losses leading to increased demands for the aforementioned programs. Even the jobs to be created are set apart to render social justice, not economic revival. Robert Reich believes new infrastructure jobs should not go to white construction workers. Meanwhile, workers at Microsoft, IBM, Texas Instruments, and the retail market find themselves experiencing the life of the welfare poor.
If highly educated and trained workers continue to lose jobs and business falters as a whole, where will these jobless workers go? Could this be construed as revolutionary social reorganization that puts the underachiever above the achiever? Where is the future economic strength when jobless professionals collect welfare and unemployment while dreaming of a minimum wage job? For whites, there's not even the hope of a good paying construction job.
Because these programs are financed with deficit spending, the effect of the Cloward/Piven Strategy becomes doubly destructive. Talk about a perfect storm! The Democrat stimulus plan is a mechanism whose goal is the destruction of the traditional American way of life. It is bitter irony that the American taxpayer will actually fund the destruction of his own ability to live according to the values of our Founding Documents. It is not alarmist to identify this situation as a coup d'etat.
As the flow of money from the top of the economy dries up, job losses and mortgage busts will mount exponentially. The Democrat stimulus plan provides for welfare expansion but not for a robust economy that creates high paying jobs. Is this what Obama means when he warns, "It's going to get worse before it gets better?" If we are not bailing out corporate America so they can regain profitability, we must conclude Obama is working toward another end goal. Recognizing these attack methods reveals the only logical response -- an unwavering wall of "No!"

I know of one antidote to the Cloward/Piven stategy. Armed revolution led by the right-wing.
We need to make clear to whoever is housing Soros that they are subject to bad times.
Gotta love that hope and change.
Compassion is "above their pay grade."
That was my thought. One weakness in the Cloward-Piven strategy is that it appears to fail to take into account balkanization...which sounds much like that Russian economist (?) predicted. But like you, I suspect before the final collapse Obama and his gang are working towards some states will attempt to get off the ride.
give amnesty to 12 - 20 million of the current population of illegals (Amnesty will double or triple whatever number is already here in a short time). I heard Napolitano say something that suggested to me that the administration might just try to do Amnesty by fiat without going through Congress.
bttt
Many of us are ready.
To start shooting, now the targets would be ACORN and SEIU employees. That's not revolution, that's insane civil war. The stimulus and tarp were aimed at saving the debt-laden aspects the democrat fascists value as their muscle. The healthcare bill to nationalize the healthcare industry is designed to remove the debt to health expenses unions like SEIU have incurred while spending 400 million of their members' monies to get the democrats elected to do this very thing, 'spread the debt around'.
The cap and tax bill will be the mule pulling the democrats' socialist wagon. By raising revenues through taxing every production and use of energy, everyone will be herded to pay the debt load which has created the fascist state where ACORN cheats elections and unions muscle industries into promising things which the industry cannot possibly sustain with a global disparity of wages such as we see and now Andy Stern and Wade Rathke are exploiting, globally, not just in the U.S. anymore.
Exactly!
The other event that it doesn't account for is increasingly that balkanization is breaking down into geographical regions. Not to say that there aren't conservatives everywhere and vice versa, but the mix is becoming less even. We really are down to very few "moderate" Pubs in the northeast, rust belt and left coast.
sounds much like that Russian economist (?) predicted.
When I first saw the prediction of the breakup of the USA I thought that guy was nuts. As time passes it doesn't seem so crazy. The radical leftists don't understand that there is a sizable number of us who will not live under the tyranny of a fascist regime.
But like you, I suspect before the final collapse Obama and his gang are working towards some states will attempt to get off the ride.
I think it will be pursued in peaceful ways. Through the courts and through legislation. I think it will be a longer process then just during the 0 admn. I think we are at the front end of this and it may be as long as 30-50 yrs with some ebb and flow but I don't see a USA remaining united.
God bless Glenn Beck for keeping this on the front burner, and attempting to awaken America to “their” game plan...
Amen
I had the exact same reaction...but like you, it no longer looks like the musings of a complete nutcase. I highly doubt he had the breakdown correct, but predicting the breakup itself when he did would be notable. Hopefully America wakes up and better and more adult heads get put into power. There may be some who bluster about who owns the guns, or who is better prepared for chaos, but the fact is, that chaos would be very ugly for all involved.
I agree.
I think the south and especially TX is where it's begining. Gov. Richardson brought up the topic of seceeding and has pointed out the socialist direction of the fed govt. The fact he wasn't laughed off the podium and discussion followed indicates a ground swell slowly building.
Hopefully America wakes up and better and more adult heads get put into power.
I don't see it happening long term. We have a majority of people who don't pay income tax and expect to receive benefits without paying for them. We may see a resurgence of conservatism based on social policy, but the long term fiscal dependance will win out.
There may be some who bluster about who owns the guns, or who is better prepared for chaos, but the fact is, that chaos would be very ugly for all involved.
I don't believe it will get to that. Liberals only fight when their sons and daughters aren't at risk. The US military will not fire on American citizens and conservatives will not shoot at the police or military.
I think it's more likely that through protests, legal action and defiance that the libs will just say it's not worth the trouble. Once one state opts out the adjoining states will be able to and eventually the country will split.
According to the Free Trader/Global Competition crowd, they will settle for lower-paid "service jobs" or go on the Dole. Of course, with lower pay, they won't be able to buy much. However, they can alsways go into debt to maintain the facade of a Middle Class existence - until the credit runs out or get to Critical Overload. Oh well, "you have to break a few eggs to make an omelet."
BTTT for your post.
I guess this is what happens when a bunch of people that are determined to fundamentally change our country occupy the presidents administration. I wonder what happen to the most transparent administration we were promised?
