NBC’s ObamaVision: ‘Law and Order’ — ‘This Is Why We Need Health-Care Reform’
Big Hollywood ^ | November 17, 2009 | Michael S. Rulle Jr.

NBC’s “Law and Order” is in its 20th season. The economy is weak, so they have devolved to converting White House talking points into weekly shows. Last week, “Doped” was a farcical equivalent of “Damien Thorn meets Karen Silkwood.” Pharmaceutical companies and Doctors are worse than drug cartels. The killers in the previous week’s episode on such cartels were more sympathetic than the health professionals.

I hope that conservatives who oppose the message of these shows aren't supporting them by viewing them. How hard can it be to not watch a stupid television show?

I used to be such a big fan of Law and Order..it really is a shame, such a good show turned into THIS, nothing more then a propaganda machine for Obama..absolutely disgusting. The only show I watch on NBC now is Days of Our Lives, even they yesterday were doing this annoying as hell “Go Green” message

This is exactly why I stopped watching Law and Order years ago. It was a good show in the 90s. I watch NCIS (CBS) and Mad Men (ABC), History Channel and that’s about it.

Maybe we can get NBC’s Law and Order to do an episode geared towards justifying why this country should go bankrupt and all. =.=

I like NCIS quite a bit as well. Mark Harmon’s good in the part, plus he’s a stand-up guy in real life. He saved a couple of teenagers’ lives back in the 90’s by pulling them from the wreck of a burning car.

I haven’t watched Mad Men yet, but I have heard some very good things about it.

I took it a step further and shut off my tv service altogether. THAT is how you stop supporting this stuff.

I do enjoy Law and Order SVU. They do give religion, abortion and the war on terror fair coverage. Detective Munsch is their token “left wing, conspiracy nut job” who is over the edge most of the time

I watch NCIS, but the new show from Los Angeles sucks.

I stopped watching Law and Order and it's spinoff’s years ago t got just too liberal for me. It got so when they spilled the liberal crap , I started gagging and ran to switch it off.

The history channel has gotten so that it sucks too with it's end of the world garbage and twilight zone alien episodes.

Me too. Actually I stopped watching practically any television years ago. What’s not inane is leftist, most of it is both. It would be bad enough if was simply inane entertainment, I believe that most of it actively kills your brain cells. Even channels that could be good, like History International, have an anti-Christian bias. I don’t watch anything anymore except TCM, and I’m phasing that out because they’re showing their bias lately (as of a few years now). Thank goodness most of the things I like to watch-old movies and classic documentaries from the days when the bias didn’t show so blatantly-are available on DVD. I never liked much else anyway.

I also noticed that on Veteran’s Day last Wednesday, AP/Yahoo! News did a story of how many uninsured vets die every year.

I think it was pulled rather quickly when someone forgot the Government-run VA.

You’re correct. I only have basic cable on my TV, for watching TCM. I really don’t need even that, except for Silent Sundays (many silents unavailable on DVD or video). I’d be willing to give even that up, but DH won’t comply, he loves his sci-fi.

I just started watching Man Men recently. It’s pretty good. Set in the 1960s.

Future episodes of Law and Order (soon to be renamed "Law and Obama") will look something like this. (give the video a minute or so to really get rolling)

It’s been years since I’ve watched L&O. I quit after a particularly nasty attack on gun owners. I don’t even recall the plot now, it was so long ago.

The only thing I watch on NBC is the local news from 1100pm-11:15pm otherwise I wouldn’t bother with them at all.
