Anti-Amnesty Tea Party Movement Begins to Spread Across Country

More than 50 Anti-Amnesty tea party rallies were held across the nation this past weekend. The events were put together by Americans for Legal Immigration (ALIPAC), but NumbersUSA played a role in the events held in Alexandria, Va. and Pasadena, Calif.

High unemployment rates, overpopulation, and declining public services motivated grassroots activists to attend one of the many tea parties.

In Alexandria, protesters stood outside of Rep. Jim Moran's (D-Va.) district office, fighting against any amnesty plans from Congress.

"If the situation continues as it is, we are powerless unless we speak out like this," an attendee said. "Cut off the funds and maybe they will go home."

Hundreds turned out at a rally in the embattled city of Phoenix where American Citizens United helped organize the event. "We need to have borders, secure borders. We cannot give amnesty, because once you say amnesty, they keep coming more and more," said Anna Gaines from ACU.

ACORN and other open-borders groups showed up at several of the tea parties, but there were no major confrontations.

It’s pathetic that law-abiding American citizens have to beg and plead with their government to abide by the law and arrest illegal aliens.

I have always contended that the Founding Fathers put the following in the Declaration for a reason. That reason being that the Constitution can be amended but the Declaration can not be changed. It simply is what it is. In it we find the following...

That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed -

What is even better (and harder) is what immediately follows...

That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government...

...the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it...

Well, if the "alter" portion of the instructions are no longer working correctly the "or" comes into the picture.

And that is the very part the Founding Fathers carved in stone by keeping it OUT of the Constitution and putting it IN the opening instructions.

We as the grantors of such consent, have not consented to letting the federal government ignore the law for criminal illegal alien immigration law violators. Nor will we, as real American Citizens, consent to letting the federal government circumvent the law with a disguised amnesty for criminal illegal alien immigration law violators.

We had a nice small turnout on a cold grey wet day.
70 or more folks came.
This is from a conservative county that has not had any demonstrations other than for the current conservative movement, since the 1930s.
Something very big and very conservative is coming,
And the liberals are going to watch and learn.

It is sad that Obama is spending $2MM to defend his Kenyan birth in the courts and Democrats and RINOs are so concerned with re-election that they are willing to sacrifice their own citizens to a 3rd World onslaught.

Does anyone know what happened to saveourstate.org? I just went on it and read that it was closed indefinately. Save Our State is a California anti-illegal immigration group that was well known for their public protests.

Here is the video of the attack by the Squatter Support Squad (in this case ANSWER) against US citizens expressing their 1st amendment right. It’s brutal! And it’s going to get worse because they are emboldened by a PC administration.
