McCain deserved this bum. Two peas in a pod, as far as I'm concerned.

Finally, McCain was also a lousy carrier jock!!!

Not only is Steve Schmidt an utter incompetent, the sucker is retarded, nasty, vicious, and brain dead to boot.
Hey, Steve Schmidt, at least Sarah Palin DID graduate from university. If I am not mistaken, the moronic Steve Schmidt couldn't even graduate when he attended university, on account of having some mental deficiency.

McCain ran way too far left (middle of the road) which meant that he didn’t take the conservative position on many issues.

Schmidt is partly responsible for McCain not being conservative enough, thus making 0bama’s radical leftist socialist direction seem like he was middle of the road, which it couldn’t be close to even if he came in from the left.

Possibly it's time to revive aspects about McCain's military career that I vowed to put in the deep freeze during the McCain/Palin campaign.

McCain was widely known as "Ace McCain" among his fellow Navy fliers, because he managed to crash five of his own planes. Well, maybe one or two of them weren't his fault, but he was unlucky as well as reckless.

But McCain's worst act was to use his position as chair of the Senate POW-MIA committee to abandon his fellow POW-MIAs for political and monetary advantage. He provided cover for that, and for the recognition of North Vietnam and establishment of trade relations without demanding any accounting of what happened to them. Some were shipped to China and Russia. Some may still have been alive at the time. But McCain abandoned them.

Not sure I’d take a lot of Schmidt’s input at face value. Not sure I’d take basketball advice from the Washington Generals, either.

Steve Schmidt and Nicolle Wallace will never work in this town again. Anyone who is stupid enough to hire them deserves what they get. I can’t even imagine Mitt Romney hiring them, even though they both support him. Schmidt and Wallace are not smart enough to pick up dog poop from the street

It’s all “fiction”, Steve? So does that mean you suing for libel?

Evidently going after Palin is the only way for Schmidt to get his name in the news.

McCain ran way too far left...which meant that he didn’t take the conservative position on many issues.

He not only didn't take the conservtive position, McCain seemed to make a point of insulting his conservative base at least once daily.

Worst GOP candidate since Alf Landon.

1. Using Huckabee to thwart Romney and, thus, win the nomination was smart politics.

2. The impulse to suspend the campaign over the financial crisis was the right one.

3. Had they not trod very gingerly regarding what “multicultural hogwash” dictates they would have been mercilessly savaged by the MSM.

This article is off base.

The campaign was fairly well run.

It was the disastrous candidate which could not be overcome.
