Palin slams 'sexist' Newsweek cover...
I rather look at her then fat ass Michelle anytime
Yes 111%
No 0%
I liked it.
I thought it was sexiest.
Cant say I like the leaning on the flag effect. This was a picture better left not taken.
Well, I don’t know if she’ll ever throw her hat in the ring for Pres. but as Culture Warrior (which these days must include media bashing) she’s very effective.
Not guilty. (Palin, not Newsweak)
If there are any Freepers who still subscribe to or buy this piece of trash please call and cancel your subscriptions and stop buying it altogether!
Not guilty!!!
She posed for the pic, so I don’t think she can expect that it will be used only as she might like.
In any case...not guilty.
The Today Show just put Andrea Mitchell on giving a report on Fact or Fiction on Palin/Oprah interview. Sarah you are tough to endure the left attacks. I love her and wish the left would lay off but they are full force attack mode.
And, while the other comments on this thread may be meant as complimentary, they tend to fall into the same category.
If you want Palin to be taken seriously, you must admire more than her pretty face.
Well some of us are leaning on the flag and the Constitution that it represents for support right now.
While she did pose for the picture Newsweek used (during a photo shoot for Runner’s World magazine), I think it was VERY Low-Class of Newsweek to NOT have their own photographer shoot some new pictures, using poses more appropriate for a Cover Story in a NEWS magazine.
Freep’d. At 1010ET:
Is Newsweek’s cover of Sarah Palin ‘sexist’?
Yes
83%
No
17%
Despite the fact that Sarah is not at all hard on the eyes, this is clearly a sexist ploy by the rag/mag to display her in less than favorable light. It’s deplorable. Darn good thing no one reads it...
The photo was shot for Runners World mag, to stress being fit.
Newsweek commies placed the photo out of context to damage her...but hey when it’s looking that good...it’s good lol.
Seriously, would they take a picture of Obama or Biden on the beach shirtless and then place it on Newsweek,Time etc and discuss politics.
Absolutely not. Total double standard but this plays to women and it was a political mistake by Newsweek.
Sexist? Yes..
Anti Conservative Yes
But she looks great! Eat your heart out Katie (and Michelle). I am inspired, She and I are about the same age and if I wish I could look half that good. Ok..off to the treadmill.
It’s the wrong question. Of course it is sexist. And that is a good thing.
Men and women are different. Those differences matter.
I would think one would expect a "News" magazine to publish a photo more representative of Palin's work as Gov. There are hundreds to choose from.
Instead they looked for as close to cheesecake as they could find. Unbiased news organization? Yeah, right.
