Charlie Crist is getting killed by a hug.
The Republican governor is being bombarded with images of him hugging President Barack Obama when he was in Florida to pitch his $787 billion economic stimulus plan earlier this year.
In just the past two weeks, that hug has appeared in an ad by the conservative Club for Growth attacking Crist, in a Democratic National Committee e-mail highlighting his recent assertion that he actually didn’t “endorse” the stimulus bill and in headlines all over Florida, including one Wednesday that read: “Charlie Crist needs to figure out a way to undo a hug.”

If Crist embraces the 0bamunist, then he probably embraces his policies.
I hope the RINO goes down in flames and the Conservative Rubio gets the nomination.

Crist has a lot more problems than just a photo of him hugging bam bam. He is one of the RINOs that MUST be purged from the GOP or the conservative will purge themselves from the GOP.
Charlie came to the table with a lot of baggage and suspicion. The hug was just the nail in his coffin. Good bye Charlie has to go!

This goes far beyond a “hug.” It is about the heart and soul of the GOP. We are at a crossroads. The party either goes back to its conservative roots or it becomes Dem-Lite.

Crist is not even remotely like Scozzafova, however, he is not entitled to senate seat and if he wants to win, he is going to have to win in the primary.

All incumbents who voted for the Obama health, energy and bailouts should be voted out in 2012. The voted for political reasons, not for the people......get rid of them!

Amen! I will never forgive him for endorsing McCain on the eve of the Florida presidential primary. IMHO, he should have not endorsed anyone in that contest. Let the people of the state go to the polls and express their preference.
The same thing now would not do anywhere near the damage, but that was in the early days of his governorship and his true colors hadn't been so boldly displayed. In retrospect his endorsement that day was the beginning of his being exposed as a total RINO. He comes from that school of thought that you have to have bipartisanship to get things done. BS. Just ask the next possum you see what it's like in the middle of the road.
