Hasan’s mental state was considered by his colleagues at Walter Reed. They know more about psychopathy than this author, who probably doesn’t know much.

What is wrong with these people, and Joe Klein in particular? They keep insisting Hasan was mentally unstable, although they produce no evidence that he was. There’s plenty of evidence that he was a conscious fundamentalist who approved of suicide bombings. To point to these facts does not make you a religious bigot.
