Check out the outtakes from Sarah's interview with Oprah...they are great... Oprah interrupts her a fair amount in the first clip which is annoying...also do you guys recognize Oprah's shoes from a certain event?

That really stood out to me as well. I absolutely loved how she expressed concern for the path Levi is being led. I bet a lot of women took notice of that, too.

I thought it was a very good interview for Sarah, and that Oprah found herself charmed by Governor Palin. My whole family watched it—including my teen and tween boys. Now THAT is impressive. LOL.

I agree with you 100%. Unlike most people on this board, I watch Oprah all the time because she does address some good subjects. I could not tell that she treated Sarah any differently than many other guests. She always asks probing questions and tries to ask the ones that she thinks the audience would want to know the answer to.

Levi has been publicly trashing Sarah, so she had to ask about him. I did not think the Levi discussion was disrespectful or inappropriate to have in front of Sarah's daughters since I am sure that Willow and Piper have heard about it already. It gave Sarah a chance to show how gracious and understanding she is toward someone who has been speaking ill of her in public.

I think that Oprah liked Sarah in spite of herself!

I TiVO’d it. I will run it through the coversion to mpg tonight and see what file size I can get it down to. If you have ever used RAR file technology I can split and host it for you. We will have to send links by Email. I can handle a little bandwidth but not if this gets huge. The TiVO file is 6.3 gig. I recorded in HD. Once I pull the commercials out and recode it I hope to get it down to DVD size.

Another option if you dont mind mail is I could throw it on a DVD and mail it to you...

Todd is quite a hunk a man. Today I was listening to Tammy Bruce(Who adores Sarah and Todd) and said that she met Todd and touched his arm and said “Damn, he makes me want to go straight”

LOL 'Cuda!

P.S. For tomorrow's interview with Rush, I know it's supposed to be live, I wonder if it's in studio?

Thanks for the offer, but rather than put you through all of that, I’ll wait for it on youtube. I’ve seen all of the snippets I could find, so I guess I pretty much have the gist of it, anyway.

Thanks again.

I saw it about an hour ago. I’d tivo’d it. I was impressed, very impressed with Sarah, but I don’t think Oprah was bad.

She was not particularly oozing with warmth and seemed determined to ask hard questions, but I thought she was fair and let Sarah answer.

She went a little too far with the Levi thing and a little too far with the ‘quitter’ thing but Sarah handled it well. I thought she spent a lot of time on the Katie Couric interview but apparently Sarah spent time on it in the book, so that was fair.

On the whole, she didn’t have the gotcha attitude that the Perky One did. Oprah did have a good line when she said, ‘you’re pretty perky yourself.’

I enjoyed the exchange.

That basketball reminds me of another Obama Phony side. He is always shooting basketballs like he was a player. Sarah was the real life player and heroine in the Alaska State Championships.

Oprah knows her viewers, and they are not watching the news, just the soaps, O #1, and maybe lost, etc. I think she was just clarifying, for them, and I have heard it used.

I too was very, "OMG, she's going on Oprah and it's going to be another setup." Sarah was absolutely fantastic, amazing, just grabs your heart and proves once again she is so likable and one of us. She has to run, she really is just a one in a million gifted political savant. And she's a real Conservative! You just know it. The Halloween video was so touching. I'm in Love!

Not since Reagan has anyone connected so well with the American People. Get used to it Libs.

First off, thanks for the ping. Always nice to be thought of.

Second, I reviewed the video teaser of the interview, and I see a very nervous, awkward Oprah. As an Obamanista with a dying TV audience/show/product line, Oprah may be intimidated by a real American patriot like Sarah. She may be looking at this interview with Sarah as some sort of opportunity to save The Oprah! name from the ashbin of history.

In the video, Oprah is forcefully bringing her hands together during one or several of the questions, and that is a sign of discomfort and even insecurity.

I see some closed lip smiles from Sarah, to indicate that she probably does not really trust nor like being on stage with Oprah.

From the mini-video: "Let's get the snubbing thing out of the way" is an acknowledgment from Oprah that she willingly gave Sarah the stiff arm last year. Had Oprah not said something so ridiculous, she wouldn't have so easily acknowledged her guilt in the snub.

In this first photo, Sarah is trying to feel relaxed as Oprah is "reaching out" to her with her discussion.

In this second photo, Sarah is clearly feeling awkward or perhaps even uncomfortable with whatever Oprah has just said or asked of her.

In this third photo, Sarah is adding some energy to the conversation with open hand expressions as she explains something and/or answers a question. It's an open/honest "here is what happened" posture coming from Sarah.

More to follow, so please ping me when more photos and the actual video are up?

PS...

Note the sign in the background:

The show is using her first name as "Oprah" and using Sarah's full name as "Sarah Palin."

Something is going on there.

Informality versus formality?

Why not say, "Oprah and Sarah?"

Perhaps, "Oprah Winfrey and Sarah Palin?"

There is a level of unevenness when one person is known by first name and the other is known by formal name.
