Thanks StarFan and KavMan for the above info! So Sarah do a Barbara Walters interview this week and excerpts will apear on Good Morning America and also on a 20/20 interview this Friday.
Also, Sarah with Bill O'Reilly will appear in three segments this week and part of next week: Thursday, Friday and Monday.
Sarah will be on the radio with Rush tomorrow at 1pm (top of Rush's second hour), and on Sean Hannity's Fox News show on Wednesday night, 9pm. Thanks StarFan and KavMan for the above info!
Saw the whole thing about 45 minutes ago. My observations:
I tried very hard to spot an anti-Palin bias, but didn’t really detect any. Oprah seemed to play it very straight. Except for early on (as noted) Oprah did not interrupt SP and let her give full, complete answers. I also didn’t note any particular “gotcha” moments.
Hard to watch this without coming away without the opinion that McCain’s staff was quite the collection of arrogant douchebags. And Oprah seemed to be astonished by some of the crap they pulled with SP. Insulting and sexist treatment.
A person with an open mind, who watches from start to finish CANNOT continue to think Palin is stupid, not ready for prime time, etc.
One of the cutest moments comes at about th 40 minute mark, footage from Alaska, getting the family ready for Halloween. There is a shot of little Trig sitting on the carpet with his costume on...and at that point, you can hear Oprah’s studio audience “aaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwwwww.”
Oprah needed this interview for her ratings, and our Sarah needed it to re-introduce herself to the American people. Both things were accomplished, and both women get an “A” from me.
I thought Sarah was great in the interview. I think Oprah actually found herself liking her in spite of herself.
I hope Ohippo’s audience saw the same thing. bttt
I picked up that Oprah is terribly jealous of Sarah. The questions were really a ck list and I felt that Oprah really didn’t care, just “next”. Question about Levi was very tacky..sure...let’s have him over for Thanksgiving spread and we can look at his spread at the same time....NO THANKS.
Very well done. Totally enjoyed it and Sarah looked so comfortable.

I wonder if local NBC news that immediately followed the interview on Oprah in other cities did the same as mine in MO. A news channel reporter did a nice coverage of the show, and sat with the local anchor to say that Sarah is very “popular” He was TWICE corrected by the anchor to use the word “polarizing” instead of “popular”. I see the word goes out (literally) from the top, whatever that is, to the locals. The word to be used about Sarah is “polarizing”.
And are we surprised?
Why a damn fool that Levi is for throwing his baby’s fine & decent Gramma under the bus, enriching himself, but selling his soul to the Devil. (literally) His predators & handlers are pure evil people. What a foolish boy, throwing away a wonderful support system & chance at a happy life. He will live to regret his decision, but Sarah is praying for him, so anything is possible.
Oprah lacked her normal warmth, gushing and emotional exchanges in this interview. I noticed it and a friend of mine noticed it. Sarah did very well!
lol.....you are absolutely correct on oprah’s demeanor. Cool, calculated, not really all that creative. Sarah Palin’s responses about the Levi questions were quite revealing. I was impressed how different her responses were vs. how obama would have answered.
obama would have made comments about how it did or did not affect HIM. Palin’s responses showed how she realized LEVIS’s actions were hurting LEVI. A very mature synopsis of the reasons for and effects of his actions on himself.
he’ll regret it when he matures and she will forgive him.

Just jealousy over Sarah's metabolism, Oprah can't have moose, because she will become one. She is getting tired of eating Arugula and Seltzer Spritzers, makes her grumpy...

I mean, Sarah is pretty, thin, charismatic, likable, intelligent..
and Oprah is...
well, NONE of the above.
Her ratings have tanked as conservative women have said screw you. At some point, she may not know the accounting equation, but the women has been a money making machine, and something must not smell right to her and my guess is she has had an awe-$&!+ moment over what this putz is doing, and that she bet the farm on this turkey....
AND I am sure somebody already commented on this but Oprah was such a COW when she kept saying, ‘I was at another convention’. May I also note that had it been poor dumped again Jen Aniston on the show, her hair would have been fixed during the break. SP had her ‘lil side wing’ poking out after a failed ‘ear tuck’. She’s so real and refreshing.
ONE MORE THING...if you google Sarah Palin...it doesn’t come up ‘book’ or VP...says Sarah Palin’s divorce...losers.
