Haven’t watched Oprah in many years. Two things struck me: one, Oprah couldn’t help but be charmed by Sarah. O’s distaste for Sarah was quite apparent, but by the end of the interview, O warmed to just above freezing. Second, Sarah is an extreme threat to the leftists.
Well that clip is as close as I get to that show.....but it was clear that Opy the Whale was just intent on not letting Sarah complete a sentence. Opy the Whale is a piss poor “on purpose” listener but from the looks of her she is a awesome eater ! That is one fat woman..... Palin was half the size of Opy the Whale !!
Oprah looked like she forced a smile throughout the interview.
She did look forced, especially when footage of Sarah working out was over. Hah!!

Exactly. I posted this same thing. I found it interesting that on previews for the next two shows (Jenna Jameson and porn tomorrow; a bunch of Hollywood folks on Wed), Oprah is smiling, shouting, hugging, grinning it up. She was lukewarm at best with Sarah and seemed like she really didn’t want to be there.
She can’t even feign an interest in an historic female Vice Presidential candidate, but gets all excited and giggly for a porn star? Nice.
Oprah endorsed Obama but then appeared to play no further part in the campaign which I thought was odd.

Palin was very, very good in this interview. First time I have watched Oprah since Iw as in high school!
I am watching the interview now..she is just AMAZING!!
Oprah dressed in black like she’s at a funeral or a witch or something. No jewelry. She was like some old school marm and had that same demeanor as Charlie Gibson and his glasses on his nose. She was trying hard to not like Sarah.

How about when Op tried to correct Sarah when Sarah rightly referred to Levi posing nude as ‘porn’? Oprah says flatly, “You mean Playgirl.” Sarah: “Yes, I call that porn.”
Perhaps a reference to weight only. Oprah has ups and downs in that department.
