A body discovered floating in the Chicago River near Merchandise Mart this morning is believed to be that of Chicago Public Schools Board President Michael Scott, police said.
Police have not positively identified the man, but Scott’s Cadillac was found nearby and Scott’s family had reported him missing earlier in the day....

Depends, if someone "disappears" the story stays in the news for a long time. Think Jimmy Hoffa here. If you want something to just go away you stage a suicide. And do it a little better than Vince Foster. This way it gets ruled a suicide and the river takes care of most of the evidence.
Besides with the Chicago River you would still need a shovel.

So what's the Obama connection? “Serving” on a school boards is one of the best ways to create millions of dollars in real estate from superfund sites to your friends who just happen to own them or transfer millions of dollars in real estate from a school district to your friends for pennies on the dollar.
