People like them give Catholics a bad name.
Nancy Pelosi says she’s a Catholic. Just in-name only.
I believe that the founder of this organization was the original whistle-blower against the corruption of CCHD distributions.
What really hacks me off is that my fellow Catholics seem too timid to get up on their hind legs and speak truth to power, even when that power contradicts, ignores, or otherwise lies about the Holy Scriptures.
I think that the Salvation Army is a good choice, also. I give to them regularly.

I didn’t give to the CCHD 25 years ago when I was a Leftist knowing that the money was going to pet groups...so as a conservative now for two decades, I am not going to support these moral seditionists and two-for-a-penny social justice (sic) types. Christ calls upon us to give as directly as we can and not to a bunch of pharisees who cream off the money before it ever reaches the poor and frail. The Chuirch needs to fold both the CCHD and the USCCB. Let their staff find honest work.
Some people are putting acorns in the envelopes instead of cash.
