Shaking hands while bowing? If he’d spent thirty seconds talking to the US Embassy protocol chief, he’d have been told what a gross faux pas this is in Japan. He could hardly have been more offensive if he’d bowed in the opposite direction and farted in the Emperor’s face.
Sarah Palin isn’t the rogue; Barak Obama is. the egotist does whatever he feels like, with no interest in U.S. history, protocol, or the American people. He’s either pitifully unschooled and unprepared for the presidency or he’s someone who has been installed to make the U.S. presidency look foolish, while kow-towing to communist and Islamic leaders.

He will bow to a Saudi dictator and the son of the man who authorized Pearl Harbor but won’t bow to the Queen of England. It would appear that the President’s dedication to “protocol” depends greatly upon the leader in question. The greater the atrocities committed against the United States in the past, the deeper the bow.
The man made several mistakes when he bowed. I spent time in Japan and anyone whose been there will tell you you don’t shake hands and bow at the same time. Even the japanese emperor was uncomfortable with Obama, look at the mans face. BO’s hand-holders are saying he’s just observing protocol, but most Japanese will probably think he’s a joke for not even ‘observing protocol’ properly.
Well at least we can be thankful that BO didn’t do his half-curtsy bow like he did with the King Of Saudi Arabia.
Whoever they have doing protocal doesn’t know anything about what they are doing!
