Stimulus creates jobs in China

Of the $1 billion in clean-energy stimulus money spent since the beginning of September, $850 million has gone to foreign wind companies. It doesn't take a bunch of experts at a hastily planned "jobs summit" to discover this isn't the way to bolster employment in America.

Indeed, the 11 U.S. wind farms that received stimulus money from the Treasury have imported 695 of the 982 wind turbines to be installed, creating 4,500 jobs overseas. That's far more overseas work than the stimulus money has created in the United States.

Way to go Nancy and Barack! You still have time to do creative speech writing to assure the massive number of unemployed workers in America that you're "working on it." The only people getting hope and change seem to be lobbyists, unions, democrat politicians (you're working on removing republicans and independents per news this week), illegal aliens, ACORN, the SEIU, Wall Street, and those who got you in office (aka George Soros and his type).

I'm not really sure about that. Yesterday I bought a decent set of wireless headphones with FM radio built in for $15. If history is any indicator, in the absence of oursourcing, the price for that would have been a couple hundred bucks.

If everything happened onshore it would simply mean one would have to work longer and harder to purchase goods and services.

That proves nothing except that slave labor made goods have a lower retail price.

Our GDP is a large percentage consumer spending. If you ship out the jobs and eliminate the discretionary income of enough American workers, the economy will collapse even with $15 headphones.

I would argue that those headphones cost Americans a lot more than $15 when you factor in everything.
